Executive Team

With over 8 decades of experience, the Executive Team has been instrumental in building out NVP's national footprint while delivering industry-best customer and dealer service. Together, they possess in-depth expertise and knowledge of the extended warranty industry and have a deep understanding of dealer needs, legal and regulatory frameworks, pricing strategies, and risk assessment.

Paul Dreabit

Chief Executive Officer


Paul joined NVP Warranty in 2019 as their Chief Financial Officer and took over as the Chief Executive Officer in January of 2021. He has been an instrumental part of NVP’s rapid growth over the last few years. Paul has over 25 years of experience in the Vehicle Service Contract industry both in finance as well as on the insurance side of the Vehicle Service Contract business.


Prior to joining NVP Warranty, Paul was part of the team that helped establish GWC in the mid 90’s. While at GWC aside from being their Chief Financial Officer, he also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of their AM Best A- rated insurance entity known as Global International Insurance. Paul was also responsible for managing their underwriting performance and new product development, as well as managing some of the larger dealer accounts. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Wilkes University. 

Mike Melby

Chief Revenue Officer


Mike joined NVP Warranty in 2019 as Vice President of Sales and was quickly promoted to Chief Revenue Officer. He leads the nationwide Field Sales Team as well as the corporate Business Development Center. Mike has over 35 years of experience within numerous verticals of the automotive and warranty space. He has authored several articles for automotive publications, including F & I Showroom and Agent Entrepreneur. 


Prior to joining NVP Warranty, Mike held various executive level positions at GWC Warranty, AutoNation, and Ally Financial. He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University and a Master's in Administration from Central Michigan University.

Operations

Dominic Hogan

Vice President of Operations


Dominic Hogan joined NVP Warranty in September 2020 as a Claims Manager and was quickly recognized for his leadership and strategic vision, earning a promotion to Claims Director in April 2022. In 2024, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations, where he continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth and efficiency.


Dominic has been instrumental in expanding and optimizing both the Claims and Customer Service departments, leading several high-impact initiatives that have enhanced operational performance. His achievements include transitioning the organization to a new phone platform, building a preferred shop network, and implementing a QA process that has streamlined workflows and improved overall efficiency.


With over 25 years of experience in the automotive and vehicle service contract industries, Dominic brings a wealth of expertise to NVP Warranty. Prior to joining the company, he spent nine years as a Claims Manager at GWC Warranty and held multiple leadership roles at Saturn of Wyoming Valley, including Sales Manager and F&I Manager, where he successfully led teams in achieving key customer service goals.

Maria Oliveri

Director of Service Operations


Maria Oliveri joined NVP Warranty in September 2024 as the Service Operations Director. With over 17 years of experience in the automotive and service contract industries, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the role. 


Prior to Maria's tenure at NVP Warranty, she held various positions at APCO Holdings, including Contract Processing Specialist, Accounting Staff Assistant, Claims Payable Supervisor, Claims Payable Manager, Product Manager, Accounts Receivable Supervisor, Manager of Business Processing, Director of Business Processing, and most recently, Senior Operations Integration Manager. 


Maria's extensive experience has enabled her to identify opportunities and drive improvements within the Service Operations department.

Ian Blaum

Claims Director


Ian Blaum joined NVP in April 2022 as a Claims Manager and quickly distinguished himself as a strong leader, earning a promotion to Director of Claims in January 2024. He has played a key role in streamlining operations and improving efficiency within the claims department. His revamp of the audit process has led to consistent performance improvements across multiple audits. Additionally, Ian introduced a monthly Lunch & Learn series, providing valuable industry insights to the operations and sales teams.


With over 20 years of experience in the automotive repair industry, Ian brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to NVP. He spent a decade in the vehicle service contract sector, refining his skills and deepening his industry insight. Prior to joining NVP, Ian worked as a claims adjuster for GWC Warranty and Penn Warranty Corp. He also worked as a technician for OEM manufacturers at MotorWorld, where he earned multiple factory certifications, along with ASE Master Technician and Advanced Level certifications.


Ian holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Automotive Technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Finance

Dee Soltis

Controller


Dee joined NVP Warranty in 2017 as their accountant. In 2021 she was elevated to the position of Controller. She has overseen most aspects of NVP since its inception and is a valuable resource as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.


With over 20 years of accounting experience behind her, Dee has successfully guided the company financially, and has projected a bright future of growth and stability that aligns with NVP Warranty’s business model.


Prior to joining NVP Warranty, Dee worked for a newly formed non-for-profit charter school system. In the accounting department she handled all payables and purchasing for 22 schools in the system it served.  She also worked for Cleveland Grower’s Marketing until their closure in 2007. Dee attended The Ohio State University and Missouri State University, where she earned her accounting degree.

Human Resources

Angela Gavlick

Human Resource Director


Angela Gavlick joined NVP Warranty in 2023 as the Director of Human Resources. She brings over 25 years experience in business and human resource experience including, business management, policy administration, succession planning, change management, employee development, negotiations, compliance as well as workers compensation, FMLA, ADA and other day to day operations.


Previously Angela served as the Director of Human Resources for Luzerne County Government, Human Resource Manager for Jack Williams Tire, HR Business Partner for Lowe's, and was co-owner of Gavlick Personnel Services, a regional employment and staffing agency.

Marketing

Damian Bryla

Marketing Manager


Damian joined NVP Warranty in 2021 to establish their marketing department. With over 30 years of B2B marketing and sales experience, he has played a key role in positioning NVP as a leader in the Extended Warranty industry. Damian's expertise lies in digital marketing, design, and analytics.


Before joining NVP, Damian had a diverse career spanning the advertising, entertainment, and automotive industries. He started his career in out-of-home advertising, where he contributed to developing the first network of digital outdoor advertising displays in the US. Damian then transitioned to the live music entertainment sector and achieved substantial success, building a $4 million book of business.  Driven by his passion for technology and marketing, Damian later joined the nation's largest automotive aftermarket company, where he was instrumental in developing the industry's first B2B mobile ordering app.


Damian is a proud Penn State alumnus, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising.
